These are the systems which have no maintenance or hardware other than the IP phones themselves. The service providers for this system house and do maintenance and upgrades all on the PBX technology. The cloud gives growing businesses the opportunity to add new lines and is quick to provide access to new features.

Usually, the fee is on a monthly per-user. There might not be any hardware to buy and services to purchase. The provider takes care of setting up and configuring the system from your computer.

If things go down, however, you have no control of the hardware but to depend on your provider. This system fits growing businesses with fixed budgets and no IT staff for operating and maintaining the system.
